AUVideoPlayer is a video player that functions as an Audio Unit v3 (AUv3) instrument plug-in compatible with popular DAW host applications such as AUM, Cubasis 3, BeatMaker 2, NanoStudio 2, GarageBand, and Audiobus 3.
It allows users to open video files from local storage, Photos, iCloud Drive, and various third-party cloud services. AUVideoPlayer can generate an audio signal and automatically adjust the input sample rate to match that of the host application. Additionally, it supports the playback of video files without an audio track.
With its sync mode feature, AUVideoPlayer facilitates the playback of video files synchronized to the transport clock in the host application for precise synchronization at the sample level.
Running AUVideoPlayer both as a standalone app and in conjunction with the AUVideoPlayer plug-in within a host application enables users to play a video in a Picture-in-Picture window even when closing the AUVideoPlayer plug-in window in the host app.
Supported Formats: MP4, MOV, and other formats supported by Apple's Files app.
